Arjun Tendulkar’s First IPL Wicket Sparks Celebrations in the Mumbai Indians Camp


Arjun Tendulkar defeated the skilled Bhuvneshwar Kumar during the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad and took his first IPL wicket. Rohit Sharma, a talented fielder positioned at the cover, successfully caught the delivery.

The Mumbai Indians defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 14 runs on Tuesday at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. Arjun Tendulkar took his first IPL wicket.
The young bowler had exceptional poise in the crucial 20th over of the innings, which was crucial in ensuring Mumbai’s third straight victory. Arjun successfully bowled out Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, while Rohit Sharma easily caught the ball at cover.

In celebration of Arjun’s maiden tournament wicket, MI management ordered a special dessert.

After the match, Arjun Tendulkar shared his game plan of bowling wide yorkers. He mentioned that he often has tactical discussions with his father, Sachin, regarding the game.

Arjun Tendulkar revealed that his strategy was to bowl wide and force the batsmen to hit towards the longer side of the field. He also mentioned that he enjoys bowling and is always eager to bowl whenever he gets the opportunity. Arjun further shared that he frequently discusses the game with his father, Sachin, and they talk about tactics and plans. During the post-match presentation, he explained that he focused on his release and the desired length of his delivery, regardless of whether the ball swings or not.

IPL 2023 match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday, Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 14 runs. This was possible due to the impressive performances by Cameron Green who scored fifty runs, and the fiery spells of Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith, and Piyush Chawla. These bowlers helped bundle out Sunrisers Hyderabad for a total of 178 runs.

During the match, Mumbai Indians’ bowlers, Jason Behrendorff, Riley Meredith, and Piyush Chawla, took two wickets each, while Arjun Tendulkar secured his debut IPL wicket. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Mayank Agarwal scored the most runs for his team, with 48 runs off 41 balls, while Heinrich Klaasen contributed a quick 36 runs off just 16 balls. Arjun’s first IPL wicket helped Mumbai Indians secure their third consecutive victory, resulting in a win for the team.
