India started well in their defense of a mammoth score of 350 as the visitors were at 89/4 at the start of the innings. Earlier in the match, Shubman Gill’s double century played a key role in the team’s impressive total. However, the innings also saw one of the most controversial dismissals in recent times, involving Hardik Pandya and Tom Latham.
