Rising Australian fast bowler Lance Morris has said that the first Test of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy could be his best chance to play in India. as well. “I’m doing everything I can to be as prepared as possible,” Morris told reporters. “If we’re talking honestly, that’s probably my best chance to play there. We’ll see what happens. It’s good to be back competing. I was probably bowling behind the nets for about four or five weeks , so it’s good to be out in the middle and bowling to some of the best batsmen at the moment. I’m really excited to go away. Cricket wise this is my first overseas tour. To be honest it’s a big learning curve for me going to be an experience.”
Lance Morris also said that he is making sure that he bowls enough balls till the end of the BBL season when the workload is also limited.

“If I’m playing [BBL], then I will bowl my four overs and try to bowl a few more overs before or after the game. If I’m on the sidelines, I’ll be behind the nets to make sure I have the numbers under my belt. I probably just came to terms with it,” Morris said. “At first I resisted it a little bit, then it got harder. I saw Shaun Tait clearly pass the baton. We’ll take it. ” It’s been around for a while.
