England all-rounder and Sharjah Warriors captain Moeen Ali has heaped praise on former India skipper Virat Kohli, saying that he really admires him and enjoys his company. Sharjah Warriors are all set to face MI Emirates in the second match of the inaugural ILT20. Speaking with Zee Network, Ali said that he really admires Kohli and he is very unique, adding that he has not met anyone else like him in terms of personality.
As quoted by India Today, Moeen Ali said, “I really admire Virat Kohli. He is definitely one, he is someone else as a player. He is someone you want to play with, Spend time with him. He is so unique, I have never met anyone else like him in terms of personality.
The England all-rounder said he loves the company of Kohli and finds former India skipper MS Dhoni very inspirational.
Elaborating on this, Moeen Ali said, ‘There are a lot of great players cricket-wise, but as a person, I really love Virat’s company. MS Dhoni is very inspirational,” said Ali. Ali said that Indian fans should support Sharjah Warriors in ILT20 as there is no superstar in their team.
Explaining it further, Moeen Ali said, “Like I said, we are the underdogs, there are no superstars in our team, but we have the fight and we can show that spirit and the Indian fans will see us playing and the underdogs winning.” Will enjoy watching.”
The inaugural edition of the International League T20 is scheduled to take place from Friday, 13 January to Sunday, 12 February. There are 34 matches to be held in the next 30 days. MI Emirates is set to face Sharjah Warriors in Abu Dhabi at 7:30 PM IST.
