Team India will lock horns with Sri Lanka in the final match of the three-match ODI series at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Indian captain, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first on a batting pitch. Captain Rohit Sharma made 2 changes as he rested Umran Malik and Hardik Pandya and brought back Washington Sundar and Suryakumar Yadav in the lineup.
Sri Lanka decided to leave out Dhananjay de Silva and Dunitha Velez and included Ashen Bandara and Jeffrey Vandersay. Surprisingly, the visitors decided not to include Mahesh Tikshana as he has been completely ignored despite having a habit of picking up wickets at crucial stages of the stage.
The Men in Blue put up a brilliant performance in the 10-over power-play, scoring 75 runs without losing a wicket. India’s score was 91-0 at the end of 15 overs with Rohit Sharma scoring 42 off 47 balls while Shubman Gill scored 45 off 43 balls.

Nothing matters to the bowlers on a pitch where the batsmen need to be spot on with their line and length. It would not be wrong to say that another high scoring match is in the offing. Captain Dasun Shanaka should use Wanindu Hasaranga carefully as his overs will be crucial.
