Indian wicket-keeper batsman, Rishabh Pant had a knee surgery ten days ago and he is still under observation by doctors to assess whether the ligaments are healing naturally. Talking about the same, one of TOI’s sources in BCCI said, “All the ligaments were injured. The posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) is a cause of concern. Doctors said MCL surgery is absolutely necessary. Now two His PCL will be assessed in the week. Hopefully, it won’t need further surgery. So far, he’s essentially just had one major surgery.
According to sources, Rishabh Pant may be discharged after a few weeks. After this, the BCCI will prepare a chart of his rehabilitation.
